As a Receptionist you’ll be a face of the hotel, so we want you to bring your warm and friendly personality to work with you every day. You are the first and last person our guests see, you set the tone for the visit and you can ensure that everything has gone above and beyond before they leave.
If you’re our ideal Receptionist, you will:
- Have top-notch organisational skills
- Be courteous to guests and colleagues at all times
- Have strong communication skills through a variety of means
Your duties will include:
- Ensure that the Front Office Manager and Duty Managers are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments;
- Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy;
- Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner;
The successful applicants will work closely with all other departments and managers on a daily basis. Applicants must have a knowledge of PMS systems and be familiar with making bookings and check in and check out procedures.
